1,700 passengers boarded Alaska cruise; 2 days later, sailing was cancelled

Royal Caribbean cancelled an Alaska cruise after around 1,700 passengers had already boarded the ship in Vancouver. The seven-night sailing was delayed because of an unspecified technical issue and was later cancelled after passengers spent two days waiting on board. Guests were offered refunds, future cruise credit and help with travel changes.
