Pemuda Umno sedia sambut seruan Himpunan Mega Penyatuan Ummah

Pemuda Umno is ready to respond to the call for the Mega Ummah Aid Gathering, according to Dr Akmal Saleh, the organization's chief. However, he hopes the gathering will include discussions and proposals for solutions to people's problems. Dr Akmal stressed that the gathering should not merely be a gathering of supporters, but a platform for both parties to discuss issues facing young people and the nation.

He said that each gathering should have a goal and produce actionable solutions, which aligns with Rimbun 1.0, a program initiated by Pemuda Umno that includes discussions on education issues. He cited specific proposals, such as establishing Tabika Autisme Kemas classes, which now have 19 branches nationwide. Dr Akmal emphasized that the approach should continue beyond slogans to generate action.

He also announced that Pemuda Umno intends to establish a special team under the Sayap Religious Affairs Secretariat to assist women facing marital conflicts, especially when their husbands fail to fulfill their responsibilities towards the family. He explained that the team is needed to ensure that women facing domestic disputes are not left without legal protection due to a lack of procedural knowledge.

"There are husbands who are married twice, and there are husbands who are abroad, but their wives are left hanging and have to bear the burden of their children. Children need food, children need school, but the wives who are left behind have been stuck for years." He added that the special team would help affected women understand legal procedures and connect them with available support.

Pemuda Umno also wants to address the issue of fathers who fail to pay child support even after court orders. He stressed that the government should consider reviving the wage garnishment mechanism to ensure child support payments are made.
