A hospital in Jengka, Malaysia, experienced a fire incident late last night involving pediatric dental surgeries, which resulted in the evacuation of some patients. Kuala Lumpur: A portion of pediatric dental surgeries, including both children's and women's teeth surgeries, at the Jengka Hospital caught fire late last night. Deputy Police Chief Wong Kim Wai said his department received reports about the incident around 7 pm.

He stated that the blaze involved the operating rooms of both types of surgeries and was successfully extinguished by the Pahang Bomb Squad within approximately 20 minutes. Six young boys, five young girls, and six women who were in the affected surgeries managed to escape unharmed, with no injuries reported, according to a statement.

Wong said that according to information from the bomb squad, the fire started from the top of the surgery building and caused about 10% damage to the surgeries. He said the cause of the fire and the estimated extent of the damage are still under investigation by the Pahang State Civil Defense Department.
