‘Siapa paksa tandatangan’, Syahredzan gesa Ismail dedah perkara sebenar

DAP MP Syahredzan Johan has called upon Negeri Sembilan's Chief Minister, Ismail Lasim, to reveal the true events surrounding the alleged forced signature of a proclamation document that would lower Tuanku Muhriz to Tuanku Munawir. The MP from Bangi emphasized that such allegations cannot be taken lightly, as they involve the integrity of the royal institution in the country.

He urged the authorities to investigate the claims, stating that the issue extends beyond Negeri Sembilan and involves the future and security of the nation's institutions and the Malay Ruler.

Johan, who is also the deputy chairman of DAP, raised concerns about the accountability of those who allegedly forced Ismail to sign the document, similar to cases reported by international media. He questioned whether there are individuals within Umno involved in this episode, which could result in the removal of a Malay king they acknowledge as legitimate. Ismail is said to have reported to the police around 6 pm yesterday to facilitate an investigation.

Earlier, Ismail was reported to have signed a proclamation document, as depicted on social media, and filed a police report the same evening to allow a proper investigation. Yesterday, several individuals, including Undang Luak Johol Muhammed Abdullah, claimed in a media forum that Ismail had signed the proclamation document to remove Tuanku Muhriz.

They alleged that Ismail signed and completed the proclamation form under Section 10(2) of the State Government Body Act 1994, dated August 3rd. The State Secretariat Four previously claimed that the state government's management must adhere to the proclamation lowering the throne of Tuanku Muhriz, which Ismail allegedly signed at Istana Laguna Biru, Port Dickson, the previous month.
