A Gazeta do Povo, once just a traditional paper in Curitiba, has become a national force under the leadership of Guilherme Cunha Pereira. The newspaper, which now has the majority of its 140,000 subscribers outside Paraná, shifted to a digital-first model last year. This strategic move was fueled by the family's sale of their stake in RPC, a Globo-affiliated company in Paraná, to the Lemanski family, its existing partners.

Guilherme's focus has now centered on the Gazeta, which finally achieved a breakeven point this year after years of support from the controlling shareholders. The entrepreneur has also embraced a new role as the face of the newspaper's opinions, spearheading a campaign against "the bloating of the judiciary" and the excesses of the Supreme Federal Tribunal, especially regarding Alexandre de Moraes.

Recently, Guilherme celebrated de Moraes' removal from the Federal Police (PF) and criticized the "lazy and cowardly" behavior of Davi Alcolumbre, the President of the Senate. He urged all class associations to voice their concerns and addressed the STF president, Edson Fachin, asking when he would allow Brazil to move forward toward democratic normality, especially after the removal of the PF director.

Despite praising Fachin for removing a fake news request from Alexandre de Moraes, Guilherme stressed that it's too early to suspend any scrutiny of the minister's conduct.
