Uttar Pradesh: Anganwadi Workers Welcome CM Yogi Adityanath Govt's Honorarium Hike, Call It Recognition Of Efforts

Lucknow, 8 September: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's decision to raise the honorarium for Anganwadi workers and helpers has been met with great joy. The officials described the move as a nod to their hard work and responsibilities. At a ceremony in Ayodhya, the Chief Minister raised the pay for Anganwadi workers from Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,000 and for helpers from Rs 4,000 to Rs 6,000.

Additionally, a cashless treatment facility of up to Rs 5 lakh per year for workers, helpers, and their families was announced. Anganwadi workers from across the state expressed their delight over the government's announcement, thanking the Chief Minister. Vidya Devi, a worker at Chilh III in Mirzapur, said, "Anganwadi workers ensure the benefits of government schemes reach children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers.

We are very happy with the honorarium increase. The cashless treatment facility shows the government's recognition of our efforts." Kranti Devi, a helper at Maladharpur I in Mirzapur, remarked, "The honorarium hike and cashless treatment facilities have boosted enthusiasm among helpers. This step by the government brings relief to our families."

Sanjita Devi, at Amoi II in Mirzapur, stated, "The increased honorarium and medical facilities will motivate me to discharge my responsibilities effectively." New Anganwadi worker Rakhi from Meerut said, "Receiving this appointment is a big happiness for me. The honorarium increase and cashless facilities have increased my enthusiasm to fulfill my responsibilities."

Anganwadi worker Geeta remarked, "The honorarium increase is a matter of great happiness. The cashless medical treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh for families is a major relief. The government understands our hard work." Worker Babita said, "The government has increased honorarium and shown concern for our families' health security. Receiving three sarees will also be helpful.

These decisions have given us respect and confidence." Manorama remarked, "The cashless treatment facility for families has reduced our worries." Rajkali remarked, "The Yogi Government has honoured the hard work of Anganwadi workers."
