UCC sends important notice to WASSCE students

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has alerted prospective students awaiting their 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results about the status of its admission application portal. The university's admission portal continues to accept applications for selected programs, with the deadline for those programs set for Friday, September 11, 2026. This notice comes after the release of the 2026 WASSCE results by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

Applicants who applied under the 'awaiting-results' category are instructed to log into the application portal using their e-voucher details. They should then verify that their full names, WASSCE index numbers, and program choices are correctly listed. The university advises applicants who have November/December (Nov/Dec) results but did not utilize them during their initial application to add those results as a second sitting.

Those holding 2025 or older WASSCE results must choose the "WASSCE Application" option and verify their results during the application process before submitting their forms. For health-related programs, the application deadline is also September 11, 2026. However, applicants seeking admission to other programs have until September 25, 2026, to submit their applications.

UCC emphasizes the importance of applicants carefully reviewing their application details before the specified deadlines. This precaution is taken to prevent any potential errors that could impede the processing of their applications.
