'Mousetrap' tops Netflix's weekly non-English TV chart

Korean suspense drama "Mousetrap" topped Netflix's weekly non-English TV series chart for the second consecutive week, according to the streaming platform's latest report. The show, which stars Ryu Jun-yeol and Sul Kyung-gu, garnered 4.4 million views during the tracking week that concluded on Sunday. It secured the top spot in 45 countries, ranking number one in four of them: Korea, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Pakistan.

Based on the webtoon "Field Mouse," the series follows Moon-jae (played by Ryu), a solitary writer whose identity is stolen and who becomes entangled in a dangerous pursuit to find the individual who seems to know him more intimately than he does himself. Other Korean series that made an appearance on the weekly chart included "Four Hands, Two Sonatas," which debuted at number five with 2 million views, and "Our Sticky Love," a Netflix romance drama that held the seventh position with 1.5 million views. "Spooky in Love," a remake, also featured in the chart.
