'Mousetrap' tops Netflix's weekly non-English TV chart

A Korean suspense thriller titled "Mousetrap" topped Netflix's weekly non-English TV chart for the second consecutive week, according to the streaming platform's latest report. The series, which stars Ryu Jun-yeol and Sul Kyung-gu, garnered 4.4 million views during the most recent tracking period that concluded on Sunday. "Mousetrap" made its debut in 45 countries, claiming the number one spot in four of them - Korea, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Pakistan.

The show is based on the webtoon "Field Mouse" and follows the story of Moon-jae (Ryu), a reclusive writer who loses his identity and becomes the target of a high-stakes hunt to uncover the identity of the "rat" who knows him better than he knows himself. Other Korean shows also fared well on the weekly chart. "Four Hands, Two Sonatas," a drama about students studying classical music in an arts high school, debuted at number five with 2 million views.

The romance drama "Our Sticky Love" maintained its position at number seven with 1.5 million views, extending its stay on the chart for the fifth consecutive week. "Spooky in Love," a remake, is also part of this week's content.
