Haaland double powers Man City to victory over Porto

Erling Haaland scored twice as Manchester City defeated Porto 2-0 in their Champions League opener at the Dragao Stadium. The Norwegian striker initially faced a challenge from Porto's goalkeeper Diogo Costa, who made several acrobatic saves to deny Haaland a hat-trick of goals before halftime. Despite a series of mistakes from Porto, Haaland's second goal came in stoppage time, solidifying his position as Manchester City's third-highest goalscorer of all-time with 167 goals.
