Chicago resident Becca Ostein captured the bizarre event while jogging near Lincoln Park. Her video shows a dozen delivery robots operated by the firm Coco converging on a narrow sidewalk, their flashing lights creating a traffic jam. Ostein attempted to navigate through the obstacle course of robots, expressing her frustration in the video's caption: "Run route was crowded this morning." The video received a range of reactions in the comments, with many users expressing concern, particularly those who are disabled.

Ostein spoke to CBS News following the incident, describing the swarm as overwhelming and indicating that there was no clear path for people to pass. In response to the incident, Coco issued an apology, acknowledging that their robots are not designed to operate this way. The company stated that their team quickly identified the issue and cleared the robots within minutes. Coco assured that measures would be taken to prevent such an occurrence in the future.
