AMD GPUs are climbing the sales charts as Radeon beats Nvidia on Amazon and in Germany

Despite Nvidia's long-standing dominance in the GPU market, a recent shift has begun to favor AMD, particularly in the realm of Radeon GPUs. According to Amazon's top 10 best-selling GPU list, an even split now exists between Team Red (Nvidia) and Team Red (AMD), with the Radeon RX 9070 XT leading in the highest position. In Germany, AMD's dominance is even more pronounced, with the company accounting for nearly 56% of all GPUs sold over the past week, compared to Nvidia's 40%.

This trend is highlighted by the AMD RX 9070 XT's popularity on the German retailer Mindfactory, which often offers promotions and discounts for its products, driving up sales figures. The situation is further compounded by the ongoing memory crisis, which has inflated GPU prices, making AMD's often cheaper alternatives more appealing to consumers.

While Nvidia still holds a significant presence in the Steam survey GPU chart, with its GPUs present in nearly 73% of participants' machines, the rise of AMD's Radeon GPUs could signal a notable shift in the market landscape.
