A Novel Month for Billie as Two Pirate Tales Sail into Port

Billie Anthony Gaddess, hailing from San Luis, has made headlines with the release of two new books within a month. The author's latest works, Captain Torregoon and the Mystery of the Forward Walking Crab and Captain Torregoon: A Cascade of Treachery, are the culmination of a career that has spanned military service, radio broadcasting, acting, filmmaking, and now fiction.

Born to Scottish singer Billie Anthony, Billie made his stage debut mere days after his birth during a performance at Newcastle’s Empire Theatre. His early life was filled with extraordinary experiences, from serving in the military across Europe to learning how to fly gliders and teach driving. After living in various European countries, he turned his attention to entertainment, becoming an actor, radio presenter, and fundraiser for charitable organizations.

During his time in Spain, Billie hosted live programs on Real Radio International and Big FM, and performed with ADHOC Theatre Company, appearing on Viva TV Spain. His most ambitious project was the film The Cucaracha Club, which he wrote, co-produced, and starred in, featuring a talented ensemble including Stevie Spit, Chloe Leigh, and former EastEnders actor Tom Watt.

Billie’s move into writing fiction was inevitable, resulting in the Captain Torregoon series. Both new books are now available in paperback and Kindle formats on Amazon, as well as through other bookshops. With his background in storytelling and a range of experiences, Billie is reportedly working on a spy trilogy based on The Cucaracha Club, suggesting that espionage may be the next exciting chapter in his literary journey.
