More than 1,000 homes from RM170,000 set to reshape Perak’s housing landscape in Meru

IPOH, Sept 7 — Maju Teluk Batik Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Setia Awan Group, plans to introduce more than 1,000 homes priced between RM170,000 and RM358,000 in Meru, Perak. The 1,084-unit Residensi Jati De Meru Phase 1B is set to boost the growing township's housing landscape, with completion expected by 2029 and handover scheduled for 2030.

Setia Awan Group director Doh Fan Kent stated that affordable home ownership is crucial, especially for young families and first-time buyers. The freehold project, with an estimated gross development value of RM291 million, is strategically located near the North-South Expressway. The development, situated near schools, hospitals, and hypermarkets, provides easy access to essential amenities.

The residential project features four layouts, ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom units, accommodating various family needs. Key amenities include a multipurpose hall, children's playground, kindergarten space, and a surau. Additionally, a splash pool open to the public is planned, with residents enjoying a special entry rate. Currently, the development is approximately 30% complete.
