Maduagwu emphasized that the heightened funding from the Tinubu-led administration has enabled FERMA to expand its road maintenance and rehabilitation activities nationwide. The monitoring team also inspected the Ete-Abak Road, another SUKUK-funded project, as well as maintenance works on the Abak-Ekparakwa-Mkpat-East West Road, which included repairs such as treating failed sections, removing unsuitable materials, laying stone bases and drainage infrastructure, applying asphaltic overlays, and conducting carriageway repairs.
