Guangzhou, China – Huawei officially introduced the HUAWEI Mate XT 2 | ULTIMATE DESIGN on September 7, marking the debut of the first smartphone featuring the LogicFolding Tau (τ) Chip, officially entering mass commercialization. This innovative device showcases a wing-like tri-fold design, pushing the boundaries of aesthetics and innovation.

Powered by the Kirin 9050 Pro chip, it offers a 42% performance boost compared to its predecessor, thanks to advanced hardware, software, and cloud integration. The phone introduces several groundbreaking features, including the Xuanwu Ultra-Durable Tri-Fold Architecture, Smart Shield Privacy Screen, True-to-Color Camera 3.0, and HarmonyOS 7 large-screen experience.

Designed with Chinese aesthetics in mind, the device's back panel features a cloud pattern created through Brocade Cloud craftsmanship, available in three colors: Purple, White, and Black. The camera ring boasts an iconic Star Diamond Glow design, constructed from Yttrium Crystal and fired at 1,800°C, showcasing 33 star diamond facets through intricate polishing.

The device also features Xuanwu Ultra-Durable Tri-Fold Architecture, making it the first tri-fold phone to achieve IP58/59 dust and water resistance. The cover screen, made of Xuanwu Kunlun Glass, resists scratches and impacts while offering anti-glare technology for clear visibility. The main screen utilizes a multi-layer composite ultra-tough structure for enhanced impact resistance.
