Executive Women Network celebrates a decade of leadership, sets sights on next generation of impact

The Executive Women Network (EWN) is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary with the EWN@10 Conference & Expo, taking place on October 1 and 2 at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra. The theme of this milestone event, "A Decade of Leadership, A Future Toward Holistic Impact," will see leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and stakeholders from Ghana and across Africa gather to discuss leadership and impactful change in three main areas: self and family, career, and legacy.

Founded in 2016, the EWN has grown into a community of over 200 women leaders who connect, share knowledge, support one another, and collectively work towards gender representation in leadership. Over the past decade, the Network has expanded its impact beyond professional networking, focusing on mentorship, leadership development, policy advocacy, and community engagement. EWN Ellevate, an initiative specifically designed for young girls, has reached over 600 girls in Ghana's Northern Region through mentorship programmes.

Throughout the two-day conference, participants can expect to engage in discussions, learn from a diverse range of speakers, network, and discover products and services. Notable speakers at the event include Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Mavis Owusu-Gyamfi, Sheila Mika-Premo, and others. Chairperson of the EWN Executive Committee, Janet Sunkwa-Mills, emphasized that this anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate the women who have contributed to the Network's journey and to reflect on the kind of leadership women aspire to champion in the next decade.
