Vote now for Monroe County Region Athlete of the Week Aug. 31-Sept. 6

Mason Cousino of Dundee has been recognized as the inaugural Monroe County Region Athlete of the Week for the 2026-27 school year. From August 24 to 30, he garnered 63.7% of the 12,657 votes cast, amassing 8,062 votes to surpass Summerfield football player Austin Taylor, who accumulated 2,984 votes. Voting for the next week, August 31 to September 6, is now open.

The voting period has been extended due to the Labor Day holiday, concluding at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, September 10.
