Nine killed in firing incidents in KP's Bannu

Bannu witnessed a series of devastating firing incidents on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of nine individuals, including women and children. According to police sources, an accused named Rehmanullah allegedly opened fire in the Kurram Garhi Mamandkhel area, killing one Tahir, his wife Bushra Bibi, and Maryam Bibi, the daughter of Tawab Khan. The police registered a case on the complaint of Tawab Khan and initiated an investigation into the matter.

Another incident occurred in Mirbaz Barakzai, where accused Azmat, Abdul Munir, Wajid, and Zar Khan stormed a house and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of seven-year-old Naveed Khan and his 15-year-old sister over a blood feud. The police connected this killing to a murder dispute.

In another part of Bannu, Faisal and his wife allegedly opened fire inside a house, killing a 22-year-old woman, wife of Arman Khan, in Kot Barada, Kot Adil, under the jurisdiction of Saddar police station. Additionally, a man allegedly shot himself dead in his house for unknown reasons in the Miryan police station jurisdiction.

The body of a shopkeeper, identified as Amir Nawaz, was found locked inside his shop in Tanchi Bazaar. He was reportedly murdered. The shop had been closed for several days prior to the incident.
