Evan Roos is a renowned professional rugby union player, recognized for his versatility and physical strength. Born on January 21, 2000, in Pretoria, South Africa, Roos is part of a family that has contributed to the sport, including his sister Taila and brother Rohland. Standing tall at 1.91 meters and weighing approximately 109 kilograms, he is a versatile forward who can play as a flank, eighth man, or lock.

Roos began his rugby journey at Paarl Boys’ High School, a prestigious institution renowned for nurturing elite talent. He played for the Blue Bulls at junior levels and made his Currie Cup debut for the Natal Sharks in 2019. Despite facing challenges, including limited game time at the Sharks, Roos persevered, eventually joining the Stormers in Cape Town, where he has become an integral part of the team, making multiple appearances in the starting XV.

His impact on the field is evident, particularly with his aggressive ball-carrying and ability to break tackles, consistently ranking high in carries, metres gained, and post-contact metres.
