Apple iPhone 18 Pro, foldable iPhone prices leaked on multiple websites: What to expect

As Apple's highly anticipated September 9 launch event approaches, leaked retail prices from international carriers provide a glimpse into the potential costs of the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro series and the first-ever foldable iPhone, dubbed the iPhone Ultra. While standard Pro models may experience only slight price hikes, buyers of Apple's innovative foldable device can expect to pay significantly more.

According to leaked data from Vodafone Egypt, the iPhone Ultra is expected to retail for 155,750 Egyptian pounds, roughly equivalent to Rs 2.89 lakh. An Australian carrier leak suggests a higher price point of AUD 3,699, which translates to around Rs 2.52 lakh. These prices indicate that the foldable iPhone will likely be positioned at the premium end of the market.

US-based market intelligence firm TrendForce projects a baseline price of $2,099 for the iPhone Ultra, slightly higher than the starting price of $1,999 that some carriers have listed. This means international and domestic buyers can anticipate paying at least $2,000 for Apple's groundbreaking foldable device.

In comparison, Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 will be priced at $1,899 and $1,899.99, respectively, in India. The iPhone 18 Pro series, on the other hand, is expected to face modest price adjustments with the iPhone 18 Pro starting at $1,099 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $1,299. Even these increases would place them above the starting prices of their competitors, the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
