Air Force Capability Coalition Identifies Five Areas Of Assistance For Ukraine

At a recent meeting of the Air Force Capability Coalition in Kyiv, participants identified five key areas of assistance for Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Defense. The discussion took place among representatives from several nations, including Ukraine, the Netherlands, Denmark, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

The event also featured a meeting with Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister, Serhii Boiev, and a working group led by Lieutenant General Anatolii Kryvonozhko, the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The five areas of assistance highlighted by the Coalition are: developing aviation infrastructure; training personnel; maintaining existing aviation capabilities; developing the helicopter component; and scaling up defense-industrial and military-technical cooperation. These areas have been prioritized to enhance Ukraine's aviation capabilities and strengthen its defense-industrial sector.

An important outcome of the meeting was the announcement of the creation of an Air Force Capability Coalition Fund. This fund aims to improve coordination in developing aviation and facilitate the attraction of funding to expedite the implementation of priority projects. The Coalition's efforts are focused on bolstering Ukraine's aviation capabilities, training its personnel, and fortifying its defense-industrial base through increased military-technical cooperation.
