Will come to Sircilla, Siddipet, Revanth says in a challenging tone to BRS

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy challenged the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in a fiery speech on Saturday, announcing that the Congress Party would hold public meetings in Sircilla and Siddipet, the constituencies represented by BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao and former Minister T. Harish Rao. Addressing a gathering in Nakrekal, Nalgonda district, after the inauguration of a 100-bed government hospital, Revanth Reddy vowed to visit Sircilla by the end of the month and Siddipet the following month, urging the opposition to brace themselves.

He asserted that the Congress would not permit the BRS to regain its political influence in Telangana, claiming they would secure 117 assembly seats if the number of seats increased, or 90 if they remained the same. Revanth Reddy highlighted various schemes expanded under his government, including those benefiting farmers and women, and criticized the previous BRS administration for discontinuing schemes and limiting benefits.

He demanded that former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao resign from the Assembly if he was unwilling to participate in its proceedings, referencing the ₹11,000 crore allocated for free RTC bus travel for one crore women. Revanth Reddy dismissed BRS allegations about his education, asserting that his values and conduct spoke volumes.
