West Bank violence: Israeli forces open fire during raid, settlers vandalise home

In the West Bank, Israeli forces have been involved in a series of violent actions, including detaining a Palestinian, vandalizing homes, and raiding towns. According to Palestinian media, Israeli military personnel stopped Karim Asakreh while he was passing through a checkpoint near Bethlehem on Saturday.

Separately, settlers have been accused of vandalizing the home of the Suwais family and cutting down trees in the Khalayel al-Louz area, southeast of Bethlehem. The Israeli military conducted raids in the towns of Nazla al-Sharqiya and Qaffin, located north of Tulkarm, early on Saturday morning. Additionally, troops entered the Qalandiya refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem on Friday evening, opening fire and deploying stun grenades.

In Ramallah, the army sealed off the village of Al-Mughayyir on the northeastern side, preventing residents from entering or exiting. Settlers attempted to provoke Palestinians on nearby farmland during this time.

Wafa reported that Israeli authorities seized 7,498 dunams (approximately 1,865 acres) of land in Qabatiya, situated south of Jenin, under a military order to construct a road and a new military tower, as reported by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
