LIVE coverage of Week 2 in high school football

Week 2 of high school football features 17 games, with matches taking place on Friday night, Thursday night, and Saturday. Two games concluded on Thursday night, while one is scheduled for Saturday. Live coverage is available for all action.

Westlake and Royal secured perfect starts as unbeaten teams at 3-0 on Thursday night. Sophomore quarterback Ford Green showcased his skills, completing 7 of 11 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown. Freshman Hendrix Tucker also performed well, throwing for 96 yards and three touchdowns. Demare Dezeurn contributed with five receptions for 82 yards and two touchdowns, while Charles Davis added two touchdown catches.

Westlake defeated Chatsworth 49-14, maintaining a winning streak of 13 consecutive regular-season games under second-year coach Rick Clausen. For Royal, Josh Salazar and Landon Shaffer each rushed for two touchdowns, and Josh Garcia had a combined rushing and receiving touchdown, leading the team to a commanding 46-7 victory over Contreras.
