Dubai Police issue safety plea to public after missing girl, 6, found in 30 minutes

Dubai Police have issued a safety plea to the public following the swift reunion of a six-year-old girl with her family after she went missing for less than 30 minutes. Officers at Naif Police Station immediately launched a search following the girl's report, circulating her photograph among all patrols. The child had become separated from her father in the Frij Al Murar area of the Naif district.

Upon discovery, the girl was found crying and extremely frightened. She was taken to Naif Police Station, where the Victim Communication Section provided her with care while her father arrived. This incident has prompted Dubai Police to warn parents to keep young children under close watch and teach them how to respond if they become lost.

Brig Omar Mousa Ashour, Director of Naif Police Station, explained that the father had taken his daughter to a grocery store and returned home, only to find her missing. Believing she had gone back to their home, he searched the surrounding area before contacting the police. The police did not specify the date or time of the incident.

Dubai Police emphasized that children should know how to respond if they become lost, particularly in crowded areas, and that they should approach police officers or security personnel for help.
