Dubai Police issue safety plea to parents after missing girl, 6, found in 30 minutes

Dubai Police have issued a safety plea to the public following the swift reunion of a six-year-old girl with her family, less than 30 minutes after she was reported missing. Following the alert at Naif Police Station, officers promptly initiated a search effort and disseminated the child's photograph to all patrols. The six-year-old girl, who had become separated from her father in the Frij Al Murar area of Naif district, was subsequently found on a nearby street.

Upon discovery, she was found crying and extremely frightened. She was taken to Naif Police Station, where the Victim Communication Section provided her with care and attention while the police awaited her father's arrival.

The incident has prompted Dubai Police to advise parents and guardians to maintain constant supervision of young children and to instruct them on how to respond and whom to approach if they become lost. The incident's date and time remain undisclosed. Brig Omar Mousa Ashour, Director of Naif Police Station, reported that the father had taken his daughter to a grocery store near their home before turning back and realizing she was no longer with her.

When he couldn't locate her, he contacted Dubai Police. The police did not disclose further details regarding the incident.
