Missing Dubai girl found within 30 minutes, reunited with parents

A six-year-old girl went missing in Dubai on Tuesday, but she was found and reunited with her parents within 30 minutes. The incident occurred in the Frij Al Murar area, where the child became separated from her father while visiting a grocery shop. Her father realized she was missing after turning around and not seeing her. He returned home and contacted Dubai Police.

The Naif Police Station received the missing-child report and immediately formed a search team, sharing the girl’s photograph with patrols and investigation teams. Within half an hour, a Naif Police patrol spotted the child and brought her safely to the station. The Victim Communication Section helped calm the frightened girl, and officers contacted her family.

She was then reunited with her parents. Police used the incident to remind parents and guardians to keep young children within sight, especially in crowded areas. They also advised families to teach children what to do if they become separated, such as approaching police officers or security personnel and clearly stating they are lost.
