Confession time: Alright, come clean—how tidy are your bags in your MMOs?

As an MMO columnist for PC Gamer, I often ponder the tidiness of my fellow players' inventory bags. The cheerful abstraction of these bags shields us from the hassle of managing our myriad possessions. It's common for our bags to overflow with pelts, steaks, teeth, claws, trinkets, coins, crystals, and more, all acquired through our endless grinding and dungeon runs. While I appreciate the convenience this provides, opening my inventory is often a dizzying ordeal.

Some argue that the game is to blame, offering an auto-sorting feature that allows me to endure my disorganization without much discomfort. A simple click can instantly categorize my junk by type. However, I believe these systems could be improved. For example, I'd prefer it if all the gear I de-synthesize in Final Fantasy XIV didn't take up valuable initial inventory slots.

Despite my efforts, I still struggle with this, and I imagine I'm not alone. After all, millions of players frequent these games, and I'm not foolish enough to assume my column reaches that many.

Nonetheless, I'm curious to know the tidiness level of my fellow Terminally Online readers. Are your bags filled with disarray, or do you meticulously sort your demicrystalised megalized torment orbs by color and patch release date? Perhaps embracing the messiness is part of the charm—after all, MMO inconveniences are part of the gaming experience.
