Samsung Galaxy A18 4G Leak Reveals Colors and Key Specs

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy A18 4G has been the subject of a new leak, offering details on its colors, storage options, and key specifications. According to reliable tipster Roland Quandt, the phone will be available in light blue, black, and silver finishes, with storage capacities of 128GB and 256GB. The RAM configuration is still unclear, though a 4GB version has already been tested.

The Galaxy A18 4G is expected to measure around 164.4 x 77.8 x 7.84mm, with an additional 9.74mm when the rear camera bump is included, making it approximately 0.34mm thicker than the Galaxy A17 while maintaining similar overall dimensions.

The device is anticipated to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, along with the familiar Infinity-U waterdrop notch for the front camera. The rear triple-camera setup is believed to be similar to the Galaxy A17, with a minor adjustment in the camera housing's flushness with the back panel. Internally, the Galaxy A18 4G is rumored to be powered by MediaTek's 6nm Helio G99 chipset, a choice that follows Samsung's move from the 12nm Helio G80 used in the Galaxy A14.

Geekbench testing revealed the device's octa-core processor, with two cores running at 2.2GHz and six cores at 2.0GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM. The device scored around 744 points in the single-core test and 2,064 points in the multi-core test, placing its performance close to that of the Galaxy A17 4G.

The Galaxy A18 4G is expected to carry a 5,000mAh battery and run on Android 17 with One UI 9. Storage options are anticipated to include 128GB and 256GB, while higher RAM configurations are yet to be confirmed. The camera system is expected to remain largely unchanged from the previous generation, with a triple-camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, alongside a 13MP front camera.

If these specifications are accurate, the camera hardware would not undergo any significant changes from the previous model. The battery and pricing details have yet to be announced, with official information expected in the coming weeks. Samsung has not yet disclosed pricing, with the Galaxy A18 4G and a separate Galaxy A18 5G expected to launch later, potentially featuring a Qualcomm processor instead of the Exynos 1330 used in the Galaxy A17 5G.
