Wawasan menuju pertengahan, sederhana, kata Saifuddin

Setiausaha Agung Wawasan Saifuddin Abdullah has outlined the party's direction towards the halfway point and simplicity, stating that the party is not aiming to be a multi-racial party, but its essence is dominated by a certain group. He emphasized that the composition of members and leadership, from the national level to the branch level, will face the Malaysian people.

Following the rebranding of the party on July 6th, the election of Central Executive Committee (CEC) members saw the replacement of the president, two vice-presidents, and eight CEC members from non-Malay-Islam backgrounds. The Chairman of the State Relations Committee (Penaja) was allowed to appoint three CEC members to ensure the party's multi-racial and multi-religious membership.

Saifuddin clarified allegations of practicing identity politics, asserting that identity should not contradict religion and the Constitution. He stressed that discriminating or being discriminated against based on identity is wrong. He said that being a party with a Malaysian face is not just about numbers or ensuring representation of all groups and religions, but it must be translated into political culture, including decision-making, prioritization, handling differences, and most importantly, fostering trust among all parties, which he also emphasized as a Member of Parliament.
