Security forces kill 12 terrorists in Kalat IBO: ISPR

Security forces in Pakistan have carried out a targeted operation in the Kalat district of Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of 12 suspected terrorists, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The military's media wing reported that the operation, conducted on September 2, was based on intelligence and aimed at dismantling a hideout associated with Indian proxy militants known as "Fitna al Hindustan."

ISPR stated that a thorough search and seizure of weapons were conducted during the operation, which led to the destruction of a significant cache of ammunition and improvised explosive devices. Further sanitization efforts were underway to ensure that no additional terrorists were present in the area. The ISPR emphasized that the ongoing counterterrorism campaign, under the "Azm-e-Istehkam" vision, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, would persist with full vigor.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the security forces for their action in Kalat and reiterated the government's commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country until its complete elimination.
