Medulance Raises ₹24 Cr To Expand Emergency Response Network

Healthtech startup Medulance has successfully raised ₹24 Cr ($2.5 Mn) in its Series A funding round, with participation from Auxano Capital, Alkemi, Equentis and a group of angel investors. The company, founded in 2017 by Pranav Bajaj and Ravjot Singh Arora, offers GPS-based emergency response and ambulance booking services in India.

Medulance aims to leverage the new funds to expand its emergency services across India, grow its hospital and enterprise business, and enhance its technology and connected ambulances. The startup currently operates a fleet of over 15,000 ambulances in more than 500 cities, serving a network of 80 lakh people and handling approximately 5,000 emergency calls daily.

With an average response time of less than 11 minutes, a fleet uptime of 95%, and more than 110 corporate and hospital clients, Medulance's advanced technology includes real-time patient data sharing and camera connectivity to assist doctors in remote patient assessment before the ambulance arrives. The company has secured over $5 Mn in total funding, including a previous $3 Mn Series A round led by Alkemi Growth Capital in 2024.

As India's emergency healthcare system remains fragmented, Medulance seeks to scale its network to meet growing demand for organized ambulance and pre-hospital care services. The country's ambulance services market reached $5.5 Bn in 2025 and is projected to grow to $9.8 Bn by 2034, with a CAGR of 6.33% between 2026 and 2034.
