Big deals, massive discounts expected as Joy FM Back-to-School Fair kicks off today

The Joy FM Back-to-School Fair commenced today, Friday, September 4, at the Joy FM Car Park in Kokomlemle, Accra, in preparation for the upcoming academic year. Spanning two days, the fair opens from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily and is accessible to the public. Parents and guardians can shop for school necessities such as laptops, tablets, smartphones, school bags, shoes, clothing, textbooks, stationery, food products, and other educational supplies.

Vendors at the fair provide a convenient platform for purchasing everything needed for the new school year while also showcasing their products and services.

A standout aspect of the event is the participation of Compu Ghana, not only as a vendor but also as a sponsor, offering up to 40% discounts on selected home appliances and electronic gadgets until September 20. Speaking on JoyFM’s Super Morning Show, Maxwell Fugar, the General Manager for Sales and Marketing at Multimedia Group Limited, explained that the fair was established to facilitate back-to-school shopping and make it more affordable for parents.

He emphasized the importance of reducing the financial burden on families as they prepare for the new school year. Several book and stationery companies, including Kingdom Books & Stationery Limited, Paddington Publications Limited, and Universal Knowledge Kingdom Limited, are participating in the fair. Prestige Children’s Palace and BeGerts Kids cater to children's needs with school bags, clothing, snacks, and other products.

Educational institutions such as Shsonline.com, Challenge Bookshop, Afram Publications Ghana Limited, Sunrise Christian High School, and several other exhibitors contribute to the diverse range of offerings at the Joy FM Back-to-School Fair.
