GES releases harmonised prospectus for 2026/2027 admissions

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has unveiled the National Harmonised Prospectus for enrolment of students in Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) for the 2026/2027 academic year. This announcement was made in a statement released on Thursday, signed by Mr Daniel Fenyi, the Head of Public Relations at GES.

The document provides clear guidelines for both boarding and day students regarding the necessary items for enrolment. GES emphasized the importance of parents and students reviewing the prospectus and preparing accordingly before the academic year kicks off. The release of the prospectus precedes the school placement exercise, aiming to ensure that newly admitted SHS/SHTS students are well-prepared to commence their studies in the 2026/2027 academic year.

GES urged schools and other stakeholders to adhere to the stipulated requirements outlined in the prospectus, to facilitate a seamless, uniform, and standardized admission process across the nation.
