Alcaraz into US Open last 16 along with Sabalenka

In New York, defending champion Carlos Alcaraz advanced to the fourth round of the US Open after defeating Wu Yibing 6-3, 6-4, 6-1. The 19-year-old Spaniard, who had been sidelined for four months due to injury, praised Wu's aggressive play, stating that the Chinese player's balls skid a lot on the court, making it difficult to control.
