PAS-Umno perlu perkukuh kerjasama tawan lebih banyak negeri, kata Hadi

Presiden PAS, Hadi Awang, has called for the strengthening of cooperation between PAS and Umno in order to secure more seats in upcoming elections. Hadi emphasized that a government without strong support is at risk of collapsing, and a solidly supported government is essential to prevent it from being overthrown. The strength of PAS and Umno as a combined force is crucial to ensure a government with a strong majority and minimizes the risk of being toppled.

He reiterated that the formation of a government must be accompanied by the support of the people, as a weak government faces the risk of falling. The strength of the government body is essential, and without it, there can be no government. Hadi stressed that without strong support from the people, the government will inevitably fall.

He cited Kelantan as an example of how the support of the people can keep a state under PAS rule, despite facing various political pressures and challenges. He also noted that PAS can maintain its strong position in Kelantan due to the support of the people from outside the state, such as those from Sabah. PAS successfully held onto Kelantan, even with the opposition and challenges, because of the support of the people from other states.

Hadi also mentioned that the success of PAS and Umno working together in winning the Negeri Sembilan PRN further strengthened their partnership. The more successful they are in winning seats, the more comfortable they feel, and they don't want to overdo it. The last PRN victory in Negeri Sembilan secured the highest number of seats in the DUN, and they aim to achieve the same success again.

The new collaboration between Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) has resulted in BN winning 18 seats and PN winning 7 seats in the Negeri Sembilan PRN 16, held on August 1st.
