Some Nigerians angry Peter Obi, ‘content creators’ showcasing his workings – Aisha Yesufu

Activist Aisha Yesufu has expressed that certain Nigerians are displeased with the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and various content creators publicly displaying his activities. Yesufu mentioned that these Nigerians would prefer Obi not highlight his accomplishments while campaigning, as he did during his tenure as governor of Anambra State.

In a post on X, the activist praised content creators accompanying Obi as part of his presidential campaign, writing, "May God bless all the 'content creators' putting in the work and travelling with our principal, Mr Peter Obi, @PeterObi, the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Insha Allah), to document and show all the workings he does!"

Many are reportedly angered by their inability to claim the activities are AI-generated. Yesufu emphasized that they desire the campaign to be more secretive, similar to Obi's approach during his time in Anambra. She concluded, "Una go see workings. If e pain una, make una carry una candidate waka round and use camera take document. Well done, @MamaPee. Great job."
