Saudi Passports Authority showcases mobile counter at LEAP 2026

The Passports Authority will display its mobile counter device at the Ministry of Interior's pavilion during LEAP 2026, held in Riyadh from August 31 to September 3, 2026. The General Directorate of Passports is showcasing its latest mobile counter technology at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Mulham, north of Riyadh.

This innovative device is designed to facilitate travel procedures for elderly passengers and individuals with disabilities. It swiftly and efficiently collects biometric data, captures facial images, and reads passport information, all without the need for waiting. The Passports Authority will also present its most advanced digital solutions to streamline the movement of travelers through international entry points, in line with its dedication to enhancing digital operations and improving service efficiency and user experience.
