Elliot Page says he hasn't gotten a job offer since filming The Odyssey

Actor Elliot Page has expressed disappointment that his work in Christopher Nolan's film The Odyssey has not translated into job offers since filming wrapped in 2025. Speaking to Kevin McCarthy, Page joked about being Canadian, but admitted he's been unable to land any new roles since the movie's completion. Prior to The Odyssey, Page's most significant work in Hollywood was his recurring role on Netflix's The Umbrella Academy.

The actor suggested that his transition and growth as a person in the years since Inception (2010), his previous collaboration with Nolan, have contributed to his newfound ability to deliver strong performances. Page referred to working on The Odyssey as a cathartic experience and a "full-circle moment." However, despite the film's critical acclaim, Page's comments indicate that it hasn't significantly impacted his career.

He expressed a desire for more substantial work opportunities, and noted that other actors, like Samantha Morton, have also faced challenges in finding new roles despite receiving strong reviews for their performances.
