Daewoong Pharmaceutical, the creator of the popular botulinum toxin product Nabota, is working with its global partners to expand its market reach. From September 3 to 5, the company hosted a program called 'NABOTA®EDGE : Global Academic Program' at the Parnas Hotel Jeju. This three-day event brought together 40 key personnel from partner companies across 22 countries.

The first day of the program focused on introducing the global vision and brand identity of Nabota. Attendees then delved into global marketing and education strategies, along with receiving in-depth training on Nabota products and clinical data. A hands-on practice program was also included to help participants gain a deeper understanding of the product.

The curriculum covered various academic topics, starting with facial anatomy education, which forms the basis of botulinum toxin procedures. Attendees were also taught essential knowledge for communicating with medical staff, including the standard Nabota procedure guide, safety management, and methods for addressing adverse events.

Sessions on sharing know-how among global partners followed, including a session on 'Global Best Practices'. This session examined successful strategies in various regions, such as Korea, the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin America.

To further strengthen collaboration, a roundtable discussion focused on Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT), the usage of academic platforms, and brand operation plans. Nabota has already received product approval in 69 countries, including the United States, Europe, and Asia, and has established partnerships with around 80 countries. As of 2026, the company's cumulative sales have surpassed 1 trillion won ($769.23 million), with a year-on-year goal of achieving 300 billion won ($230.77 million) in sales.
