From AI Home to Robots... Europe's Largest Home Appliance Exhibition Opens

The 102-year-old Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) has opened in Berlin, Germany, with over 1,900 companies and brands from 49 countries participating. The exhibition's theme is "The future is now," and it aims to showcase innovations in the home appliance industry, which has been struggling with rising raw material costs and increased competition.

LG Electronics and Samsung are among the major exhibitors, showcasing their latest products, including AI-powered home hubs and energy-efficient appliances. Chinese companies, including Xiaomi, which is participating in the exhibition for the first time, are also making a significant presence, with Xiaomi showcasing its smart ecosystem and a range of products, including a foldable smartphone and a humanoid robot.
