US President Donald Trump: Renewed campaign against Iran will not continue for too long

US President Donald Trump has stated that the US is prepared to strike Iran again, but he does not anticipate the renewed conflict lasting "too long," according to Reuters. Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, expressed that Iran's armed forces have "unforgettable lessons" for the US following the resumption of fighting after a month of relative peace. Additionally, Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, indicated that Washington will soon witness Tehran's "new strategy" for war.

In the financial markets, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil prices have experienced a slight decline, dropping 0.04% to $91.12 per barrel. WTI, a high-quality oil type sourced in the United States, is widely used as a benchmark for oil prices. The price of WTI is influenced by factors such as global economic growth, political instability, war, sanctions, OPEC decisions, US Dollar value, weekly Oil inventory reports, and changes in inventories.

The US Dollar, which plays a significant role in oil pricing, is currently impacting the value of WTI. Meanwhile, other currencies, such as the British Pound (GBP) and Euro (EUR), have also been affected by geopolitical concerns, with GBP/USD and EUR/USD experiencing downward pressure. Gold has shown resilience, nearing its target of $4,400 per troy ounce, driven by mixed US Treasury yields and geopolitical uncertainty.
