Tiger Woods Expected to Change His Plea in DUI Case Following Rollover Crash

Tiger Woods is set to adjust his plea in a DUI case following a rollover crash that occurred in Florida in March. On June 10, court documents obtained by PEOPLE revealed that Woods' attorney, Doug Duncan, filed a motion with the Martin County circuit court to change the not-guilty plea Woods entered initially. Woods was involved in the accident near his home in Jupiter Island on March 27, when his Land Rover rolled over after "overtaking" a truck carrying a pressure-cleaning trailer.

During his arrest, authorities allegedly found hydrocodone pills in Woods' possession and observed several signs of impairment, including "bloodshot and glassy" eyes and "extremely dilated" pupils. Following his arrest, Woods pleaded not guilty to the DUI charges on March 31 and announced a period of absence to seek treatment. He was eventually admitted to an inpatient treatment facility in Switzerland before returning to the U.S. for public appearances. The incident occurred shortly after Woods was arrested for similar charges in 2017 and 2009.
