Search under way for two Omanis after boat capsizes off Seeb

A search operation is underway for two missing young Omanis who went overboard when their boat capsized off the coast of Seeb in Muscat governorate, according to local reports. The unidentified men, named Al Mutasim Al Hasani and Mohammed Al Yousfi, were reported missing at sea following the incident. Continuous search efforts are being conducted by local authorities and residents along the coast and in nearby waters to locate the missing individuals.

Initial reports on social media suggested possible sightings of the men, but no official confirmation has been made at the time of this report. The cause of the boat's capsize, as well as the number of people on board, remains unknown. The Oman Coast Guard has previously rescued several individuals from capsized vessels off the Qurum beach, Muscat, and Barka coast. Three Omanis were saved after a boat overturned off Barka coast. However, three others lost their lives when flash floods hit the Barka region.
