Renewed Hope Ambassadors will partner campaign council for Tinubu’s reelection –Uzodimma

Hope Uzodimma, the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and the Governor of Imo State, addressed a meeting of the organization on Tuesday to address concerns about the group's status following the formation of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council. Uzodimma emphasized that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, established by President Bola Tinubu himself, remained distinct from and complementary to the newly formed campaign structure.

He explained that the organization's purpose is to educate the public, create awareness, and highlight the differences between Nigeria before and after Tinubu's administration. The Director-General also confirmed that the group's media tour across the six geopolitical zones was already underway, promoting the government's reform achievements.

Uzodimma stated that the recent formation of the campaign council was a political issue that would not affect the Renewed Hope Ambassadors' standing or mandate, likening the council to a temporary barracks used only for election purposes. The organization's permanence relative to the campaign council was emphasized, with Uzodimma stating that the group would continue to function and play its role even after the elections.

Additionally, Uzodimma announced that the group would convene a summit with all elected and appointed political officeholders in Nigeria in the third week of September, to be addressed by President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
