Renewed Hope Ambassadors will partner campaign council for Tinubu’s reelection –Uzodimma

Hope Uzodimma, Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and Governor of Imo State, reassured members that the organization had not been dissolved despite the formation of All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council. Speaking at an emergency meeting, Uzodimma emphasized that the group was established by President Bola Tinubu and remained distinct and complementary to the campaign structure.

The meeting aimed to alleviate concerns among state coordinators and members after some individuals suggested the organization's dissolution ahead of the campaigns. Uzodimma highlighted that the group's media tour of the six geopolitical zones was already underway, showcasing the government's achievements. He reiterated that the campaign council was a temporary electoral function, and the ambassadors would continue their role post-elections.

Addressing the unrest, Uzodimma stated that reports of moves to dissolve the group prompted his urgent call for the meeting. He affirmed that the ambassadors were still operational nationwide and expressed unity between the two structures, stating, "There is no rivalry between the two structures. If anything, I am the Director-General of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, I’m the Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, I’m the head of secretariat."

The group's national coordinators welcomed the meeting, noting that the clarification clarified communication gaps and reinforced their commitment to President Tinubu's re-election.
