Comment: Finally, Germany has an effective response to Putin's missiles
With the test of a ballistic missile by Israeli manufacturer IAI Industries, the German government is sending an important signal: the country is ready to defend itself resolutely.
The German Navy has released footage of a ballistic missile launch in the North Atlantic, showcasing its capabilities. The missile, manufactured by IAI Industries, can hit targets up to 500 kilometers away with high precision within ten minutes. Germany has not previously possessed such weapons, having relied on a peace with Russia and protection from the US, which no longer applies. Russia has been launching ballistic missiles at Ukraine, targeting civilians, while the US has scaled back its support for the country.
