Premier League clubs must adhere to specific rules when completing player transfers, especially on transfer deadline day. A deal sheet can be submitted from 9pm on the deadline day, giving clubs additional time to submit the remaining paperwork before 1am. International transfers must still comply with FIFA's midnight deadline. Upon registering a player, clubs submit required documents like contracts, transfer agreements, work-permit evidence, and international clearance.

The Premier League, Football Association, and FIFA review these documents. International transfers need upload to FIFA's Transfer Matching System.
