Kim Soo-hyun says he's 'glad' he became an actor as comeback gathers pace

Actress Kim Soo-hyun has reflected on her decision to pursue an acting career in a recent overseas interview as she ramps up her return to public life. This comes after a flurry of upcoming appearances, including appearances at two significant award ceremonies and a fan gathering scheduled for the coming months. Her agency, Gold Medalist, unveiled clips from an interview she provided to Indonesian TV station RCTI+ following her participation in the network's 37th anniversary live special, Mahakarya RCTI 37, in Jakarta on August 23.

"I feel like I made the right choice becoming an actor," she stated. "I think it might be interesting to ask fans what kind of character they would like to see me portray." These remarks garnered attention as Kim, who had largely avoided the public eye for over a year due to controversy surrounding her past relationship with the late actor Kim Sae-ron, starts to re-enter the entertainment industry.

During the interview, she maintained a light-hearted tone, expressing a desire to visit Bali and displaying some personal items kept in her bag. Notably, Kim appeared noticeably slimmer than in her previous public appearances but smiled throughout the conversation.
